Holder Tractors Historical Timeline

Over 115 years of hetitage is behind the HOLDER name. Notably, the first single-axle tractor was developed by C.F. Holder in 1930, and in 1954 the 1st 4 wheel articulated tractor was introduced.

1888

Brothers C.F. Friedrich and Martin Holder set up a machine shop and magnet factory in Germany.

1913

The first knapsack sprayer is released; The Holder Sprayer receives world renown.

1930

The 1st single-axle tractor- complete with power take off gears- was developed by C.F. Holder and his son Max.

 

1948

Another engineering 1st; to worldwide acclaim, Holder develops the first operational small diesel engine

1954

The 1st articulated tractors are introduced with Holders A10 series.
